If you show your Encore azaleas some tender loving care by feeding them frequently, keeping them warm in winter and trimming them on a timely basis, they’ll return the favor by giving you season after season of encore blooms worthy of a standing ovation. PruningEncore Azaleas do not have to be pruned, or their flowers deadheaded. That being said, they respond very well to pruning and, in fact, will benefit from it.
