Please let me know the problem, how to fix it and if it is worth to get it fix or should I start saving up for a new TV. I have no issues replacing parts as long as i know what could be offending part.

i’m sure you’ve already double checked this :), i been fix electronics for 35 years your heading in the right direction with the tcon but you need to resit all the ribbon cables and then there are conductive tabs all around the bezel (frame) that can do this also. Removed PSU and inspected capacitors for swelling – all good. I have checked all the capacitors visually and there are no buldging or burst caps. If you have no luck the issue is most likely the screen. What may cause it? Have you tried plugging the HDMI into a different input on your Samsung TV? Do the lines always appear on the screen when using different inputs?
Update the video card as we had the same exact issue as our video card was not updated for 4 years, we updated the video card with the newest update and it fixed it so we were able to see our PC on our HDTV. My 4 year old found a spray bottle and went a little trigger happy on my Samsung model Un50j6200afxza. Also there is random intereference on the outermost edges. The left half of my 52″ flat screen is normal and the right side is red. -RR. However if the screen is pushed in, it could be making contact with an internal component therefore causing the lines on the left side of the screen.
The problem i have was originally caused from having it wall mounted i think, where i got a full screen of blue vertical bars.
You could still have an issue with a board. The TV now has a glitched where it plays and then glitches.

anayeli, It was about 5″ and don’t see unless screen has a lighter colored background. Over time, a few of the line may disappear, or reappear. If that does not fix the issue you may have a board issue inside the TV which is causing the line. After spending over $800 and only used 3 years I am not happy.
