The first book I ordered after reading “The Heart of Christianity” was “Jesus: A New Vision.” That book inspired me to not only continue to purchase Marcus’ books, but it also led me to research the Jesus Seminar and find other great authors like John Dominic Crossan. How many times have I misjudged the heart of God? It took a few seconds for my brain to register what I saw. And I will kill her children with pestilence, and all the churches will know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts; and I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.
