I followed the troubleshooting instructions on the LG website and determined that the water line was fine and the ice was properly made, but it wouldn't cycle - in other words, it wouldn't dump the ice.
Do not press the test button continuously when the tray is filled with ice or water. We unplugged the refrigerator for 2 hours, and still the ice maker will not work or reset. Connect the wire harness to the ice maker.
